Walk from the Capitoline square, designed by Michelangelo, to the Janiculum Hill. See and cross the Tiber with your guide, walk trough Trastevere and reach the top of the hill with its breathtaking view or Rome. Sites visited: Capitoline square with its marvellous view of the entire Roman Forum, Ghetto, Tiber Island, Trastevere district, Fontanone dell’Acqua Paola (The big fountain).

Roman walks (II itinerary)
Guided walking tour from piazza del Popolo to piazza Campo de’ Fiori, to explore the downtown of Rome with its remarkable squares, churches, ancient temples converted into churches and the spectacular baroque fountains. Sites visited: Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colonna square, Montecitorio square, Navona square with the Four Rivers Fountain by Bernini.

Ancient Ostia, past and present
Start from the Roma Lido train station and stop at “Ostia Antica”. Walk through an ancient sea colony (its foundation dates back to VIIth cent. B.C.) which became the most important and vital commercial port of ancient Rome. See how life was in this ancient sea-port, discovering various types of dwellings and tenement-flats (insulae) and residences of the wealthy and see temples, roman baths, shops, mills, taverns and public cloakrooms during your stroll along the network of intact streets. Sites visited: Baths of Neptune, Barracks of Vigiles, Piazzale delle Corporazioni and Theatre, the Forum Square, Insulae.
Tickets: full € 10,00 – reduced € 6,00 (between 18 and 25 years old) – free: under 18 years old
